An empty subway car, waiting for passengers to board.  This photograph is from a series of everyday scenes discovered as new by perspective and light.  It was taken in Boston on the T red line.

Everyday scenes can transform through our eyes and reflection.  The experience of battling cancer inevitably changes the way the world appears.  A spirit of hope can make this change a thing of value, discovering the gift to observe even the most common scenes in new light.
