My young cousin underwent surgery to remove a tumor on her kidney. She suffers from a rare hereditary disease called Von Hippel-Lindau. The surgery was successful and she is living a normal teenage life, but the disease means she may have to face recurring tumors and other complications later on.

This piece is dedicated to my family and to all young folks who must suffer disease before they have a chance to experience life.
