My art is an expression and reflection on the human being and the environment that surounds one. I often consider how fragile the wall is that separates us, our skin, from the land. My paintings explore the part of our selves that overlap with our environment.

This painting was made not too long after my father’s father passed away. It represents the power of one’s environment to reflect itself in ourselves, and how we leave a touch of ourself behind and upon it.
