Story

My art is an expression and reflection on the human being and the environment that surounds one. I often consider how fragile the wall is that separates us, our skin, from the land. My paintings explore the part of our selves that overlap with our environment. 

Dedication

During the month before my second grandfather's death I painted a number of portraits. Not long afterwards I was able to revisit them and this one in particular. In many ways the emotions and experience of losing my grandfathers has been very present throughout my artistic development.
