As with many “abstractions” the notion that I created this is still quite foreign to me. To create this piece, I had no external references. I only had my internal concepts and ideas which, at times, can be extremely elusive. When asked, “where does this come from? or “what is it?” I’m never sure how to respond, but that is a good thing. Surprises are essential in art.
